We believe in the potential of every young person to shine, and we’re looking for passionate individuals like you to become Access Ambassadors. If you’re eager to make a difference, inspire change, and be a part of something truly meaningful, then Access to Shine is the perfect platform for you.
Who Are Access Ambassadors?
Access Ambassadors are the heart and soul of our charity. They are young people who are committed to bringing about positive change, promoting access to quality education for all children. As an Access Ambassador, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact, and you’ll be equipped with the tools and support you need to succeed.
About you. You’ll be:
Age 15+ by September 2023
Passion for Education: Access Ambassadors should be enthusiastic about the power of education to transform lives. You believe that education is a key to unlocking potential and that everyone should have equal access to it.
Empathy and Compassion: You’re a caring and empathetic individual who genuinely wants to make a positive impact on the lives of others. You understand the challenges that many young people face and are committed to helping them overcome these challenges.
Initiative and Proactivity: Access Ambassadors are go-getters. You’re not afraid to take the initiative, come up with creative solutions to problems, and take action to make a difference.
Commitment to Growth: You are open to personal and professional growth. Access Ambassadors have the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, and you’re eager to learn and grow along the way. Committed to helping others engage with us.
Why Become an Access Ambassador?
1. Make a Difference: By becoming an Access Ambassador, you have the opportunity to create positive change in your community and beyond. Whether it’s through community projects, advocacy, or mentoring, your efforts will have a real impact on the lives of others.

How to Get Involved

Step Two – Send us a reference once you have submitted your application. This can be from a teacher, tutor, religious leader or someone you know who is involved in education. Ask your chosen person to complete the following form:

Teaching activities may include:

CPD for Teachers

We offer specific CPD to support you at every stage of your teaching journey. The CPD provided is continually adapted and reviewed to meet your learning needs and the needs of your students.  Most of it is fully funded so you pay nothing, or a heavily discounted price. 

Construction and Beautification

Our student partner schools requires regular maintenance, renovation and beautification work. Many of these jobs are carried out by contractors. However, we also involve students (and volunteers) in some of the easier tasks. This is so that they can more appreciate living in a healthy, neat and pleasant environment.
